Mula Cerita :

Beginning of the story :

a wave of destruction. Nothingness. and out of nothingness will you out stretch your hand and take in that which needs you. Only then will the doors to the heavens open for you and your brothers..

A Skrull ship has crash-landed in the Savage land. When both Iron Man's public Mighty Avengers team and Luke Cage's underground New Avengers arrive there, Luke opens the doors of the ship, only to be met with a gathering of Earth's heroes from a more innocent time.

From out of the pod comes Captain America, Spider-Man, Hawkeye adn other who declare that they had been held captive by the shape-shifting Skrulls and have only now returned to Earth.

Meanwhile, when the ship door is opened, all over the world Skrull agents posing as humans begin to act. A Akrull posing as S.H.I.E.L.D. Commander Dum Dum Dugan Destroys the Peak, S.W.O.R.D.'s Space station, killing many of the agents on board.

A Skrull posing as Jarvis, the Avenger's butler, unleashes an alien virus into Iron Man's StarkTech mainframe, sending all Stark related technologies, including S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier, into complete failure.

A Skrull posing as Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, breaks open the Baxter Building's Negative Zone portal, sucking half of the building and half of the Fantastic Four into the abyss.

A Skrull posing as Captain Marvel attacks Thunderbolts Montains. And just as Mr. Fantastic figures out how the Skrulls are able to remain undetectable, he is shot in the head by a Skrull posing as Yellowjacket.

And now, a Skrull armada is headed towards the Earth The invasion has begun.
